Hours of Operation

Kids Count operates during the school year from Monday to Friday, 830 AM to 2:00 PM. We adhere to the Boxford School year calendar. You can select from the available time slots: 8:30 AM to 2:00 PM or 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

Kids Count Goals

Objectives at Kids Count, are to ensure a safe and positive learning environment for our students. We adhere to the Common Core State Standards Initiative for English Language Arts and Mathematics. In May 2005, Kids Count was honored with an Accreditation award from ECAEYC for our exceptional preschool quality. Our primary emphasis is on fostering Reading Readiness and Math skills, while promoting Social/Emotional Development. We have designed three programs to enrich your child's learning journey, maintaining a student/teacher ratio of 1:10 in the preschool and prekindergarten classroom and a 1:12/15 in the Kindergarten classroom.

Kids Count follows the Boxford Public School System for holidays, snow and emergency delays and closings. For snow delays or closing, please check your local television station. For any other emergency closings, you will be contacted by email or phone from the director.

Kids Count is conveniently located on the Boxford /Georgetown, Massachusetts line. We are minutes away from routes 95 North and South. Established 30 years ago, Kids Count continues to be one of the finest academic-based Preschools on the North Shore.
